Possessive suffixes in Hungarian

Are possessive suffixes used every time in Hungarian? In Finnish they are mostly dropped in colloquial language.
Oh, sorry. I just realised that the previous reply was already an answer to the question. Embarrassing. :$

Ok. I actually thought it might be something like that, but I wasn't absolutely sure.

Yes, you can say "Robi háza" etc, in fact I think it can even be used in formal situations. Can anyone confirm this? 8)

-em, -om, -am, -ed -od -ad; -e/-je -a,-ja; -unk,-ünk,
ain't these? These are always needed. But the -nak, -nek (from pronouns it will be nekem, neked, neki, nekünk ecc.) attached to the proprietary (owner) is optional. If used, an article is also needed, to the possessed thing.
long: Robinak a háza short: Robi háza, Robi kertje (garden)
